Rising Embers LLC was born from fire.
I am Ashley Scott — nurse, mom, wife, poet, songwriter, and published author. My journey into writing didn't begin with passion, it began with survival. After a respiratory arrest left me unable to continue my nursing career, I was forced to face a painful question: If I wasn't a nurse anymore, who was I?
The darkness that followed was overwhelming. Until I picked up a pen.
I had never written poetry before, but I poured my pain onto the page. When I shared my words, nurses and caregivers echoed back "me too." My story resonated, and those echoes became embers — growing into a fire of connection and healing.
That spark became Rising Embers LLC: a platform where writing transforms silence into story, pain into purpose, and isolation into community. Our app helps people heal through poetry — whether privately for reflection or collaboratively with others, because healing often takes a village.
